Since opening our doors in January 2024, Grant & Dunne has been built on something bigger than beauty.
We created our salon to be a welcoming, elevated space where people come together, feel their best, and support causes that matter. From weddings and celebrations to photoshoots and life’s biggest moments, our clients experience more than a service — they become part of a community rooted in care, connection, and impact.
Over the past year, we’ve been honored to host events supporting incredible organizations, including Breast Cancer Research, The Pride Foundation, GiGi’s Playhouse, Lyons Foundation, Folds of Honor, and Barrington Youth & Family Services. Each event has given us the opportunity to raise awareness, give back, and stand alongside the people and organizations making a meaningful difference in our community and beyond.
At Grant & Dunne, beauty and purpose belong in the same space.
Every appointment, event, and gathering is part of something intentional — a place where confidence is created, relationships are built, and generosity is celebrated.

Barrington Giving Day
Barrington Giving Day is a notprofit serving low-income families and children experiencing hardships in Community Unit School District 220. They host seasonal events throughout the year where parents can “shop” for necessities like clothing, books, toys, and food.
We were proud to participate by donating our time and expertise. We provided quick hair styling demonstrations, shared beauty tips, and donated professional hair care products for attendees to enjoy.
Breast Cancer Awareness Event
In October 2025, Grant & Dunne came together to support breast cancer awareness and research.
We hosted an evening at the salon with a raffle, food, and beverages, and continued giving back all month long by donating $5 from every service booked, 5% of product sales, and offering 50% off services for breast cancer survivors.
Together, our clients, team, and community raised $2,550, donated to Advocate Good Shepherd Breast Cancer Center.

Lyon Family Foundation
The Lyon Family Foundation seeks to bring meaningful access and opportunity to Chicago’s at-risk youth by forging powerful partnerships with local nonprofits. Through investments in education, the availability of the arts, and ensuring that health and welfare needs are met, we seek to enhance the lives and futures of children within these communities.
In June 2021, the Lyon Family Foundation launched its latest initiative—Lyon’s Way—to expand its reach to impact the lives of young cancer patients during their cancer journeys.
We were honored to support one of their events by providing hair-styling demonstrations and beauty education, and by donating professional hair care products to attendees.
